Books have the power to change lives. Books can take us on a journey to a far off land, transport us to another time, and even transform us into another person. I love books - so naturally the business of book suits me very, very well.

I’ve been involved with several book related businesses throughout the years. I sold children’s books from Usborne books and used my profits to build an incredible library for our homeschool. I’ve even earned money teaching classes on how to take and book intended for the trash and recycle it into works of art - an art form known as altered books. I’ve taught classes on bookmaking. And then there is the selling used books on eBay.

Several months ago I heard rumors that Richard Paul Evans was starting a new company. I knew of Richard’s business sense, and his leadership ability and declared that I would be involved in any business he is starting - but I sure hope that it involved books. I thought that since he was as passionate about books as I was it just might be. And sure enough it was. It was BookWise.

BookWise is all about the business of books, but it is so much more than that. BookWise is LifeWise. BookWise is about transforming peoples lives. BookWise is about transforming lives through smart living, smart business, through smart use of your financial resources, and through access to great books. What the company has to offer gets better and better every day.

So my husband and I began the next chapter in our business of books as BookWise associates and our company Creative Vision Books. Creative Vision because we believe in living life with the creative vision it takes to make your dreams come true.

And we’ve founded the Leaders & Readers Organization to support, and train our associates.
