Books feed my thirst for knowledge. They help satisfy the curiosity within me. Books stir my soul. At times, they cause me to mourn. They cause me to question myself and my judgment. Other times they lift me up and linger within my heart. So yes, a house just wouldn’t be a home without books.

The world wide web is justly named because one website links to another, then another, and another - just like one strand links another strand in a spiders web. But perhaps, it’s not the post appropriate name…Perhaps you’ve had those days when the world wide web is more like one large rabbits hole that connects to another rabbits hole, and perhaps like me you find yourself just like Alice in Wonderland chasing rabbits down rabbit’s holes and discovering a whole new world.

“You can’t hit a target you don’t see. You must have a goal because it’s just as difficult to reach a destination you don’t have, as it is to come back from a place you’ve never been.”

I’ve decided to begin another regular column here at on our blog at Creative Vision Books. It will be titled “I am BookWise”. It will contain a favorite quote or excerpt from one of the books I’m currently reading, along with my thoughts on the subject. These will be most likely be motivational quotes that have particular meaning to me right now. At times they may be something I find humorous.
