Yesterday I posted about the 2008 Reading Book Title Challenge that my sister Natasha and I are participating in. Well to encourage others to participate we are are giving away a $100.00 shopping spree to a lucky participant or promoter. The lucky winner can select their choice of books, CD’s, DVD,’s, collage text books, or even video games.

Here’s the details:

You’ll receive five entries for blogging about the contest and including a link as outlined below. Plus you’ll receive one more entry for each book you read between now and December 31st, 2008.

T o receive five credits:

Write a post that includes a description of the contest and your book selections, if you are participating. Include a link to this article using the anchor text “2008 Reading Challenge” AND a link to Natasha’s blog posting about her book selections using the anchor text “Natasha’s 2008 Reading Challenge.”

Leave us a message here, as well, letting us know you are participating.

Here’s what to do to get extra entries throughout the year:

Post updates on the books you have read from your list. Include a link back here with the anchor text “2008 Reading Challenge.” You could say something like “I just completed another book in the 2008 Reading Challenge.” That way we will be notified and you’ll receive another qualifying entry.

Have fun and enjoy some great literature. Here’s what you’ll get:

• You’ll read some great books.
• You’ll expand your knowledge.
• Incoming links - we will keep a list of those who do link back and we’ll write update posts, the link back to your entry posts giving you a little link love in return.
• And, of course, perhaps you’ll be the one to win a shopping spree.

Oh yeah. If you don’t have a blog? You can still enter. We’re giving away three bonus entries for subscribing to our RSS feed.

• The contest will end New Year’s Eve 2008 at midnight Mountain Time.
• Winners will be announced by January 5th, on both this blog and on Natasha’s blog.
